Deviantart hurts my soul.

I rrreeally love my DA friends.
However, the stupidity I see here involving "art" and the people who sometimes "create" makes my head hurt.

Alas, I'm in college and that makes my head hurt enough all on it's own, so I've been ignoring DA on purpose. : | Bite me.

Apparently, you have to be a WOWZA artist (or kiss ass, like REEALLY get in there and kiss it) to have anyone care/remember you/observe your art. And that's drama I don't need.

I keep saying I'll come back here, but really. I don't know how to. I don't like sharing what little I have to call "art" here, and I hate dealing with squealing fangirls (or boys) who somehow accidentally find my page or interest-groups.

Plus I don't have a scanner, and during the summer my internet access is severely compromised. So I guess this is a "bye" of sorts.

Also, pleaaaaase stop asking me if

is dead. NOT EXACTLY, asshats, since I'm never here on DA. Doesn't mean I'm giving it up to some stupid anime bimbo either. So go now, leave and draw a picture of Inuyasha or something.

Ps--Ironically, I will be attending Anime Expo in Anaheim July 1-4. I would love to bump into people I know from here, so HEY send me an e-mail or something so we can all meet up sometime. Adieu.

Wellll. . . I usually comment on art that intrest me, or try to give constructive crits. And it's always nice to reply to others comments aswell.

It's a shame if people are out there just kissing ass for pageviews. Once you start to see how much talent is really out there, kissing ass don't cut it.

Real artist know that their skill and talent ain't defined by how many pageviews or how popular they are. Real artist know it's about dedication and not giving up even if no body cares.

Bat, you've got alot of promising work just keep craking at it if it's something you really want to do. Draw cause you love it, and don't be afraid of crits. Hope this helps?

i'm sorry you are 'leaving' here. this is the only place i get to see the wonderful art you put up, even though that's not often.
i guess it all depends on why you come here. i joined just to see what kind of art was out there, not really to make friends or gain comments and the like.

it's true that people like to kiss-ass on DA, which annoys me. and the whole drama thing, but i'm not even with that anymore and have absolutely no clue what goes on (but it's always SOMETHING, seems like) which is great. it's like tuning out the neighbors' radio. in any case, i am not surprised they haven't given up yet. you shouldn't let the fact that people don't seem to care discourage you, but if it bothers you enough to not want to post, then that's your thing! whatever you want to do. nobody really pays attention to my DA gallery either, sooo yeah. i basically just post because i CAN and because i have nothing better to do!
