Cleaning up

I'm going to start clearing out my deviations soon.
Some of them I just hate, but I love some of the comments I got, so I feel terrible deleting them. But I think it's time.

I just have a love/hate thing going on here.
I have like 400 people on my watch, and right now I have 817 new deviations to look at. I just don't have time to do it. And how do I pick which I DO want to look at, when I love and adore all the people on my list? I run away, that's how.

My art sucks too. It's not TERRIBLE OMG I"M GOING TO KILLZ MYSELF!
But it's not what I want it to be. I can't draw what I envision. And YES: by practicing you improve. But only so much. And drawing is not my first priority in life, so I improve by a snail's pace.

It's time for me to find a new home.
I just want to pack up all my friends and move them with me.

Ps--New icon? Yeah. From my own art. It was time to at least put my own art on my icon. NEVER HAVE had it that way, *lol*. Thank you to *xxsqueekbatxx for my last icon, which rocked so hard. Just like she does.

If you don't want to lose comments, just use DeviantArt's "storage" feature on the submissions you don't want public anymore?

Art isn't a top priority for me, either. Music is. So I go weeks without drawing and then I get all pissed because something I used to be able to do easily is either difficult or impossible, due to my lapse in drawing.

What a pisser. >:C

I dont think any real artist likes what they produce. Sure they can be happy with parts of it, but never the majority usually. You are your own worst critic, and at least you have to balls to try fantasy art. I can not draw from my head and never could, still cant. Put something in front of me and i can regurgitate it, other then that im helpless. Have fun moving! And btw.. youll hear more form me now that im begining to frequent dA.

bummer i know what you mean, in order to create art, i cant have daily errands and school stuff holding me back. if theres something on my mind, or a to-do list. i cant just sit and draw or make art. my message center is steadily building up, BUT i got a free trial subscription. so i can see what i like.

WAIT you can make pics UN-public, but still have them hosted here on DA?! How do I do that, seriously I don't think I've ever seen that! *happypants*

*lol* I'm the same way. Except I never was good to begin with, so I don't think I've lost anything. I still have all my ideas bottled up, I just can't draw them all out. :* ( So emo am I.

*LOL* I know that artists are never happy with their own art: they know they could be BETTER, and so they are depressed until they can be EXACTLY what they want. Which never happens, because there is always "better." But anyway.

My problem is I truly am not that great, so I don't really have the balls at ALL! That's the problem. : * (

Oh come on, you can draw just fine, even if you do only reproduce, at least it looks good when you're done. *wink*

I have a date idea for you and graham. Get a blindfold, and some paper, and pencils. One of you hold the paper up for the other, blindfold them, and have them draw something with their eyes closed for 3 seconds. Then take that piece of paper, and finish something from it. Neither of you are going to be able to produce any masterpieces, but it just makes your creative brain twitch...that way, maybe you'll be like "HAH! I DREW BETTER THAN YOU GRAHAM!" That, and it'd be a really fun, cute idea for a date. Eh? Only takes like, 1/2 hr to do. He can sacrifice WOW for 1/2 hr, ya?
